Meet Heather Barry PT, MPT

Perinatal, pregnancy & postpartum care, women’s & men’s health

Heather brings 30 years of physical therapy experience and a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing the things they love!

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997, Heather spent her career developing a deep understanding of how the body moves and functions. Her extensive background includes treating everything from hip and back pain to complex injuries and chronic pain conditions.

What makes Heather's approach special? She knows that where you're feeling pain isn't always where the problem starts.

Heather believes in looking at the whole person, not just the area that's causing symptoms. With advanced training through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA), she combines skilled hands-on techniques with movement retraining to identify underlying restrictions, improve how the body moves, and help create meaningful, lasting changes. Her goal isn't just to help you feel better temporarily. It's to help you understand your body, build confidence in your movement, and get back to living your life!

Heather also brings specialized training in pelvic health physical therapy, supporting individuals navigating pelvic pain, bladder leakage, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and hip, low back, and pelvic dysfunction. Her extensive orthopedic background allows her to connect the dots between the pelvic floor and the rest of the body, creating an individualized approach to care that addresses the bigger picture.

In addition to pelvic health, Heather has advanced training in dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation (including complex dizziness and balance concerns), and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction.

Outside the clinic, when she's not helping clients feel their best, you'll likely find her playing competitive tennis, biking, traveling, or out walking her dog!
